Cities and regions are dealing with numerous economic and development problems; therefore, they must use the existent capital of the cities to ensure their competitiveness and recognition. For the development of cities, it is essential that they analyse their current condition, design a vision with strategic objectives, research their present position, and choose the right approach with which they are going to realise the vision of the future. However, in the process of "revival," they must also focus on some key development projects which support strategic development objectives and thus improve the quality of life in the cities, as well as in the regions.
