77 UDK 2-722.7:37.011.3-051(497.4)"197" 1.01 Izvirni znanstveni članek Prejeto: 8. 5. 2018 Jure Ramšak* Položaj vernih učiteljev v socialistični šoli v sedemdesetih letih Situation of Religious Teachers in the 1970 s under Socialism Izvleček Vprašanje idejne podobe učitelja v sociali- stični šoli je bilo izpostavljeno že kmalu po drugi svetovni vojni, a nikoli ne dokončno razrešeno. Prispevek se ukvarja z razpravo, ki se je razplamtela v času ideološke zaostritve v sedemdesetih letih, ko je Zveza komunistov obračunala s konceptom t. i. nevtralne šole, a morala kljub temu kompromisno priznati objektivne okoliščine poznega socializma in si ni mogla privoščiti odkrite delitve državljanov na verne in neverne. Z rezultatom polemike, kjer so tako na strani zagovornikov vernikov kot na strani marksističnega establishmenta sodelovali visoko usposobljeni intelektualci, ni bila povsem zadovoljna nobena stran, na prikrito uveljavljanje komunističnega obla- stnega monopola v šolskih zbornicah pa je kasneje opozorila tudi nastajajoča demokra- tična opozicija. Kljub vsemu pa so ugotovitve zlasti mlajše generacije sociologov religije pripomogle k spoznanju, da je bolj kot verska pomembna pedagoška pripadnost učiteljev. Ključne besede: socialistična šola, idejnost izobraževanja, RKC, verni uči- telji, moralno-politični kriteriji Key words: socialist school, ideologies of education, Roman Catholic Church, religious teachers, moral and political criteria Abstract The issue of the ideological affiliation of teach- ers in socialist schools was brought up soon after World War Two, but never fully resolved. The article talks about the heated debate at the time of ideological escalations in the 1970s, when the League of Communists dealt a blow to the concept of ideologically neutral school, but still had to recognise as a compromise the reality of the late-Socialist period and could not afford an open division between religious and non-religious. The result of the debate, in- volving highly educated individuals, satisfied neither the advocates of the religious nor those on the side of the Marxist establishment. Lat- er, the newly emerging democratic opposition also drew attention to the concealed establish- ment of a communist monopoly in staff rooms. Nevertheless, the findings of the younger gen- eration of sociologists of religion in particular contributed to the recognition that the peda- gogical skills of teachers was more important than their religious affiliation. * dr.
