The purpose of the paper is to present a study that offers practical guidelines for teachers who want to include methods that promote collaborative learning and critical thinking in their lessons and, by doing so, to implement activities related to the operational goals and content prescribed by the primary school mathematics curriculum. The paper aims to present a clear and systematic overview of the topic under discussion and highlight its importance in the practical implementation of learning content in practice. The research is based on the evaluation of the implemented activity in practice. The primary research method used to collect data and analyze the results is participant observation, with inclusive reflection and evaluation of the lesson. Key findings show that pupils better understand and use knowledge in different contexts through goal-oriented tasks based on a systematic approach to teaching and learning different concepts. The paper thus emphasizes the need to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications, which contributes to more effective learning and the development of analytical thinking</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Prispevek se osredotoča na možnost krepitve kritičnega mišljenja in sodelovalnega učenja preko praktične izvedbe aktivnosti, ki obravnava izbrano matematično temo iz sklopa orientacije ter možnost povezave s spoznavanjem algoritmov in razvijanja algoritmičnega razmišljanja. Namen prispevka je prikazati raziskavo, ki ponuja praktične usmeritve za učitelje, ki želijo v pouk vključiti metode, ki spodbujajo sodelovalno učenje in kritično mišljenje. Pri tem pa izvajajo aktivnosti, ki se navezujejo na operativne cilje in vsebine, ki jih predpisuje učni načrt osnovne šole za matematiko. Cilj prispevka je predstaviti jasen in sistematičen pregled obravnavane teme ter izpostaviti njeno pomembnost pri praktični izvedbi učnih vsebin v praksi. Raziskava temelji na evalvaciji izvedene dejavnosti v praksi. Glavna metoda raziskovanja, ki je bila uporabljena za zbiranje podatkov in analizo rezultatov, je opazovanje z udeležbo, z vključujočo refleksijo in evalvacijo učne ure. Ključne ugotovitve kažejo, da učenci preko ciljno zasnovanih nalog, ki temeljijo na sistematičnem pristopu pri poučevanju in učenju različnih konceptov, boljše razumejo in uporabljajo znanja v različnih kontekstih.
