The rapid proliferation of the satellite communication systems over the last decade has led to an increased need for efficient and sustainable satellite teleport facilities. The paper examines innovative approaches and technologies aimed at minimizing the environmental footprint and optimizing the operational efficiency of satellite teleports. It focuses on the STN teleport. By reviewing the current research and industry developments, the paper provides an overview for satellite communications professionals to work at the intersection of the technological advancement and environmental responsibility in the satellite teleport sector</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Satelitske komunikacije so ključne za razvoj sodobne informacijsko-komunikacijske družbe. Hitro širjenje satelitskih komunikacijskih sistemov v zadnjih desetih letih je povzročilo povečano povpraševanje po učinkovitih in trajnostnih napravah za satelitski teleport. Ta pregledni članek proučuje inovativne pristope in tehnologije, namenjene zmanjšanju okoljskega odtisa in optimizaciji operativne učinkovitosti satelitskih teleportov. Osredotoča se na primer teleporta podjetja STN.
