V gozdno-lesni proizvodni verigi sta bila v letu 2011 dosežena dva rekorda: največji posek in največji izvoz nepredelanega okroglega lesa. Smeri proizvodnje in porabe industrijskega okroglega lesa sta divergentni, posledica česar je povečevanje izvoza.
