In the article, the authors argue that, unlike previous technologies, Gen-AI may not be defined solely as a tool for extended cognition, but rather as a factor of algocracy that promotes cognitive passivity and heteronomy. According to Kant, the latter threatens personal autonomy, which, according to Frankl, is a prerequisite for finding meaning in life. The second part of the article focuses on the role of schools, which must, in the age of digital instrumentalization, act as a “counter-environment”. Instead of uncritically adopting technology, education must strengthen the courage to use one’s own reason and ethical judgment. Only by emphasizing humanity, which also contains the spiritual and religious dimension, and the development of personal autonomy can schools help young people overcome feelings of existential vacuum and establish a healthy critical stance toward algorithmic systems</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Prispevek analizira naraščajoč pojav bivanjske praznine pri mladih, ki ga poglablja novo družbeno-tehnološko okolje generativne umetne inteligence (Gen-UI). Le s poudarkom na človeškosti, ki vključuje tudi duhovno-religiozno dimenzijo, in oblikovanju osebne avtonomije lahko šola mladim pomaga preseči občutke bivanjske praznine ob hkratni vzpostavitvi kritične distance do algoritmičnih sistemov</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:DOC-NBZYEWW9"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:DOC-NBZYEWW9" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-NBZYEWW9/1f6e5ca4-4a4d-478e-91ea-bbdb63e4a97d/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Teološka fakulteta</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-NBZYEWW9/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-NBZYEWW9" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
