Regardless of its taxonomic position, the application of molecular approaches can indicate their presence, longevityand survival in forest soils. The aim of molecular approaches is an easy and reliable identification of individual taxa of whole communites of theforest soil bio-component The results of molecular identification and quantification are reliable and suitable for many downstream applications, forexample indication, quantification, computing of longevity or survival rateof analysed species or community and their metabolic activity in soil. As an example of application of molecular methods we present a mycobioindication approach in forest ecosystems. Obtained results and conclusions from molecularapproaches can be applied also in carbon dynamics analysis and estimations in forest soils"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Gozdna tla so kompleksen sistem abiotskih in biotskih dejavnikov, ki definirajo produktivnost in delovanje ekosistema. Poznavanje pestrosti in količine organizmov lahko pomembno vpliva na analize in preračune, vezane na indikacijo v gozdu, kvantifikacijo vrst ali združb ter spremljanje dolgoživosti in preživetja izbranih taksonov ne glede na njihov taksonomski položaj. Ključni cilj molekularnih pristopov je enostavna in zanesljiva identifikacija posameznega organizma ali celotne združbe osebkov izbrane taksonomske skupine. Rezultati molekularnih pristopov so kakovostni, zanesljivi in primerni za številne nadaljnje analize, na primer za indikacijo,kvantifikacijo, spremljanje dolgoživosti in preživetja ter analiz metabolne aktivnosti v tleh. V prispevku predstavljamo najpogosteje uporabljene molekularne pristope k analizam posameznih taksonov ali celotnih združb na konkretnem primeru mikobioindikacije.
