V članku je prikazan zgodovinski razvoj tovrstnih plesov do Poschevega časa. Skladbe so analizirane oblikovno, nakazana je njihova nekoliko nejasna harmonsko-modalna struktura, sledi nekaj predlogov za možno inštrumentacijo pri izvajanju, dodan je tudi poizkus koreografske rekonstrukcije izbranih plesov.
