The objective is to optimise the launching mechanism to achieve the maximum final height. We explain how capillary forces affect the ball launch and the composition of the experimental enviroment. In the process, we enhanced our measuring and data analysis techniques using the Tracker computer programme. The results show that the ball will reach its maximum height in a medium-diameter container released from the highest launch position</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">V prispevku predstavimo raziskavo izstreljevanja namiznoteniške žogice s pomočjo vodnega topa, ki je letošnji fizikalni problem na Turnirju mladih fizikov (YPT). Cilj tega fizikalnega problema je optimizirati mehanizem izstrelitve za dosego največje končne višine. V prispevku je razloženo, kako kapilarne sile vplivajo na izstrelitev žogice in kakšna je sestava eksperimentalnega okolja. Pri poskusu smo nadgradili svoje tehnike merjenja in analize podatkov z računalniškim programom Tracker.
