We identified at least 66 alien species that can survive at temperatures below 16°C, which means that they have the potential to thrive in Slovenian waters, where the average temperature of rivers and lakes ranges between 7.7°C and 14.2°C. Intentional or unintentional introductions of alien aquarium plants pose a serious threat to natural ecosystems. Some species from the list of invasive alien species specified in EU Regulation 1143/2014 have already been recorded in Slovenia, including Pistia stratiotes, Elodea nuttallii, and Myriophyllum aquaticum"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Preučili smo slovenski trg tujerodnih akvarijskih rastlin. Zaznali smo vsaj 66 tujerodnih vrst, ki lahko preživijo pri temperaturah pod 16 °C, kar pomeni, da imajo potencial za uspevanje tudi v slovenskih vodah, kjer se povprečna temperatura rek in jezer giblje med 7,7 °C in 14,2 °C.
