In determining the features of his own poetics within the space of the sociopolitical reality, Oswald, with his poetics, steps outside the model of Slovenian national-defensive literature, replacing this model with a word play that deploys the strategies of concrete poetry, while also attempting to comprehend the bilingual or even trilingual reality of the region between the Alps and the Adriatic, particularly the Carinthian reality residing somewhere between regionalism and multiculturalismV članku želimo na primeru dveh pesniških zbirk Janija Oswalda, Babylon/Babilon in Achillenverse, spregovoriti o odnosu mlajše generacije slovenskih pesnikov na avstrijskem Koroškem do dvojezične stvarnosti, ki opredeljuje njihovo ustvarjanje.
