The research is based on findings suggesting that those having confidence in own skills and ability for entrepreneurship are more likely to start entrepreneurial career, while entrepreneurial education and training is important for increasing this self-efficacy. Three, the most important sources of entrepreneurial education and training are formal education at primary and secondary level, informal training at universities and especially self-studies, through reading books, observing other people in business or by working in someone else's business, which have also the strongest impact on entrepreneurial activity. The curricula especially at the tertiary level should concentrate on those specific knowledge and skills needed by most potential entrepreneurs - regarding our results, this should include especially direct experience in the real business environment"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V tem prispevku preučujemo vpliv podjetniškega izobraževanja in usposabljanja na vključevanje ljudi v podjetniško aktivnost. Pri tem izhajamo iz dejstva, da se v podjetništvo v večji meri vključujejo ljudje, ki verjamejo, da imajo znanje in obvladujejo veščine, potrebne za podjetništvo, kot pa tisti, ki tega samozaupanja nimajo; to samozaupanje ljudi pa se krepi prav z njihovo udeležbo v podjetniškem izobraževanju in usposabljanju. Rezultati kažejo, da so tri najpomembnejše oblike izobraževanja in usposabljanja za podjetništvo predvsem formalno izobraževanje v okviru rednega izobraževanja v osnovni in srednji šoli, neformalno izobraževanje na univerzi ter podjetniško samoizobraževanje z nabiranjem izkušenj, znanja, sposobnosti in spretnosti z opazovanjem drugih podjetnikov in sodelovanjem pri poslih drugih - vpliv slednjega na vključevanje v podjetništvo je celo najmočnejši.
