One possible narrative approach is the use of narrative ekphrasis, which appears in three Slovene novels published after 2020: the novel Sin in sin Son and Son (2020) by Sarival Sosič, Na drugem koncu sveta On the Other Side of the World (2020) by Vincenc Gotthardt, and Tri barve za eno smrt Three Colours for One Death (2023) by Janja Rakuš. Ekphrastic images that verbalize works of art in three different ways evoke narrative empathy and represent the possibility of a tender narrative. They enable a synergistic connection of both multimedia and genre worlds, reveal the (metaphorical) depths of (multi)messaging, allude to the experience of transcendence, and introduce new multimodal elements into the narrative, thereby altering the concept of the autonomy of the fictional world. Z vpeljavo pripovedne ekfraze sodobni slovenski romani poudarjajo družbenokritično držo do umetnosti, človečnosti in človeške brezbrižnosti, spomin(janj)a in pozabe ali manjšinskosti</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-67BOYFYM"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-67BOYFYM" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-67BOYFYM/39eff0ac-9f3b-49bb-a8d6-4bbeb5911ea3/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Slavistično društvo Slovenije</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-67BOYFYM/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-67BOYFYM" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
