Nato je predstavljenih nekaj vidikov pojma ženske časti v izbranih srednjeveških istrskih mestih. Sledi razmislek o tem, od česa je bila odvisna ženska čast. Pri tem je izpostavljeno lastno, subjektivno (ne)častno obnašanje žene in njen način življenja na eni strani ter objektivni (ne)spoštljivi odnos in ravnanje okolja do nje na drugi.
