The purpose of the focus groups was to gather expert and practical views on how to improve the OSH system in Slovenia, particularly the quality of risk assessments, their actual use in practice, and the awareness of key actors, as well as to develop proposals for further systemic changes within the project A Comprehensive Approach to Occupational Safety and Health. Two focus groups were organised, involving a total of 20 participants. The groups were balanced in terms of representation of key stakeholders, including professionals in occupational safety and health and in occupational, traffic and sports medicine; the Labour Inspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia; employers’ organisations; trade-union organisations and workers’ councils; the Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia; and the Pension and Disability Insurance Institute of Slovenia. The discussion aimed to build on the desk research already undertaken—comparing Slovenia with six EU countries—and on the findings of 21 interviews with OSH stakeholders, thereby deepening understanding of the opportunities to improve Slovenia’s OSH system. This analysis was prepared as part of the national development project A Comprehensive Approach to Occupational Safety and Health in Slovenia (CP VZD), which aims to develop integrated and effective solutions to improve employees’ safety and health. The project is led by the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ), with the University Medical Centre Ljubljana – Clinical Institute of Occupational, Traffic and Sports Medicine (KIMDPŠ) participating as partner</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Poročilo povzema ugotovitve fokusnih skupin s ključnimi deležniki s področja varnosti in zdravja pri delu (VZD).
