It explores how online journalistic texts differ from classical forms, consi-dering the influence of multimedia and interactive elements, as well as user participation. The focus is placed on the hybridization of journalistic genres and on the question of how journalists understand and employ tra-ditional genre forms and genre- and style-forming devices. The study also addresses the challenges of contemporary online journalism, including the impact of social media and the direct interaction of readers with journali-stic content. The article presents in detail the results of a genre and textual analysis of a one-week production of online articles published by 24ur.comand Siol.net, two of the most influential Slovenian online media outlets. Through a multimodal approach, the study investigates the influence of linguistic, visual, and interactive components on genre structures and in-cludes in-depth interviews with journalists from both media organizations. Based on the collected data, the final section interprets the results within the framework of the theoretical background and evaluates how traditional journalistic practices are being transformed under the influence of the di-gital environment</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Članek obravnava vpliv tehnoloških značilnosti interneta na žanre v sple-tnih medijih in na jezikovne izbire v njih. V članku podrobneje predsta-vljamo rezultate žanrske in besedilne analize enotedenske objave spletnih prispevkov 24ur.com in Siol.net, najvplivnejših slovenskih spletnih medi-jev. Z večkodnim pristopom smo razčlenili vpliv jezikovnih, vizualnih in interaktivnih sestavin na zgradbo žanrov ter izvedli poglobljena intervjuja z novinarjema teh dveh medijskih hiš. Na podlagi zbranih podatkov v skle-pu interpretiramo rezultate v kontekstu teoretskih izhodišč in ocenjujemo, kako se tradicionalne novinarske prakse spreminjajo pod vplivom digital-nega okolja</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-8DDG2AG9"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-8DDG2AG9" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-8DDG2AG9/cfe86d19-f754-4ede-a89a-4f0b32f5f0ed/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Slavistično društvo Slovenije</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-8DDG2AG9/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-8DDG2AG9" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
