Patients with Crohn's disease are highly motivated to have an operation that would allow for rapid recovery healing with minimal scaring. The paper presents our experience with laparoscopic-assisted ileocolectomy. Patiens and Methods. In 2005, five patients underwent laparoscopic-assisted ileocolectomy for Crohn disease at tlais Department. Results. All patients hadan uneventful postoperative course and were discharged home 5 to 7 days after the operation. Conlusious. The laparoscopic technigue presented offers faster recovery and better cosmetic results than the conventional open surgery</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Izhodišča. Bolniki s Crohnovo boleznijo so pogosto mlajši, visoko motivirani za čimprejšnjo vrnitev k normalnim aktivnostim in večinoma želijo čim bolj estetski pooperativni izgled, torej so idealni kandidati za minimalno invazivno kirurgijo. V prispevku opisujeva svoje izkušnje z laparoskopsko asistiranimi ileocekalnimi resekcijami. Bolniki in metode. V letu 2005 smo na našem oddelku operirali 5 bolnikov s Crohnovo boleznijo. Laparoskopsko asistirano ileocekalno resekcijo smo naredili 4 bolnikom, enemu pa resekcijo terminalnega ileuma. Rezultati. Pooperativni potek je pri vseh bolnikih minil brez zapletov, čas hospitalizacije je bil 5 - 7 dni. Zaključki. Laparoskopsko asistirana ileocekalna resekcija je po mnenju avtorjev odličen način zdravljenja Crohnove bolezni, kar potrjujejo tudi naši rezultati</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-9754TP0I"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-9754TP0I" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-9754TP0I/14ec238e-d93a-460b-ba30-1a9078d7b901/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Slovensko zdravniško društvo, Združenje za endoskopsko kirurgijo</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-9754TP0I/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-9754TP0I" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
