Early breast cancer (T1N0M0) makes only 18% of all cases. The study comprised 247 patients treatedat the Latvia Center of Oncology in the period 1990-1992. We analyzed the correlation between 5-year survival, risk factors, histology, age, and type of surgical treatment; 118 patients were treated postoperatively by adjuvant chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
