To overcome cultural conflicts and ensure that communication exchangeis completely adequate to its context, it is imperative that foreign language learners develop intercultural competence. Through intercultural dialogue and the development of social consciousness we strive to disintegrate the injustices suffered by most deprived cultures. If we allow the dominance of one culture over the other, we are implicitly accomplices to negative consequences such as xenophobia or discrimination. If human beings have a great responsibility, greater still is our responsibility as educators, given the cultural character of our profession; teaching a foreign language must inevitably favor the development intercultural speakers.This article proposes solutions to put theory into practice in the classroom of Spanish as aforeign language"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Današnja družba iz različnih razlogov spodbuja intenziven medkulturni stik; ti razlogi so na primer globalizacija, mednarodna trgovina ali migracije. Če želimo preseči medkulturne konflikte in zagotoviti, da se komunikacija popolnoma prilagaja svojemu kontekstu, je nujno, da učenci tujih jezikov razvijejo močne medkulturne kompetence. Poleg tega želimo skozi medkulturni dialog in razvoj socialne zavesti razbiti krivice, ki jih trpijo kulture, ki jim družba ni naklonjena. Če dovolimo, da ena kultura prevlada nad drugo, smo implicitno sokrivi za negativne posledice, ki jih tako početje prinaša, na primer diskriminacijo ali ksenofobijo. Kot človeška bitja imamo zato veliko odgovornost, kot učitelji pa zaradi kulturne narave našega poklica še toliko večjo in prav zaradi tega mora poučevanje tujega jezika neizogibno spodbujati razvoj medkulturne zavesti pri učencih.Članek predlaga rešitve za prehod iz teorije v prakso pri pouku španščine kot tujega jezika"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"La sociedad actual favorece un contacto intercultural intenso debido a factores como la globalización, los intercambios comerciales o los movimientos migratorios. Para superar los conflictos culturales y garantizar que los intercambios comunicativos se adecúen plenamente a sus contextos, es imprescindible que los aprendientes de lenguas extranjeras desarrollen la competencia intercultural. A través del diálogo intercultural y del desarrollo de la conciencia social se desea, además, desintegrar las injusticias que sufren las culturas más desfavorecidas. Si consentimos el predominio de unas sobre otras, somos, implícitamente, cómplices de consecuencias negativas como la xenofobia o la discriminación. Por ello, si como seres humanos tenemos una gran responsabilidad, mayor aún es la que nos otorga nuestra condición de educadores. Dado el carácter cultural de nuestra profesión, ensenar una lengua extranjera debe, ineludiblemente, favorecer el desarrollo hablantes interculturales.
