Architecture is in fact a science, but also skill of creating something by certain rules "ars" and "tehne". It is a complex entity with a many-layered goal. It appears at various levels, all the way to society and civilisation. Architectural space should be designed in and for the human scale. Quality building should be marked by order and orderliness. When architecture isn't like that, it can only serve as an example of what it shouldn't be. "Beauty" is defined as harmony of elements, while design should be aligned to purpose, as well as content of the architectural space. Utility thereby connects to correct choice of structure, which is for such simple reason aesthetical and the object of admirationRaziskava potrjuje smiselnost primerjave širšega likovnega sveta z umetnostjo oblikovanja prostora, s čimer posredno dokazuje tudi likovno komponento kot soustvarjalca arhitekturnega prostora. Arhitektura je namreč znanost, pa tudi veščina kako nekaj narediti po nekih pravilih, "ars" oziroma "tehne". Predstavlja kompleksno celoto, katere cilj je mnogoplasten. Pojavlja se na različnih nivojih, vse do nivoja družbe in civilizacije. Arhitekturni prostor naj bi bil oblikovan v in po merilu človeka. Kvalitetno stavbarstvo naj bi označevala red in urejenost. Kadar arhitektura ni takšna, lahko služi le kot primer kakšna ne bi smela biti. "Lepoto" opredeljuje skladnost elementov, oblikovanje naj bi bilo usklajeno z namenom, pa tudi z vsebino arhitekturnega prostora.
