As a result, it was assumed that the government had moved away from its reform plans in general. But the current state of affairs shows that the social reforms have been consistently implemented and are becoming even more restrictive than originally planned. The main focus of the article is an analysis of the social protection and social security measures in the reform documents. Conceptual shifts that are reframing the understanding of the social state and people's well-being will be followed and explored. A particular emphasis is given to the effects of reforms on the social status of welfare recipients and their survival possibilities"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Strukturne reforme, ki so bile oblikovane v letu 2005, so v javnosti doživele številne kritike in nasprotovanja, ki so privedla do tega, da del reformnih načrtov ni bil izveden, zato je nastal vtis, da se takratna vlada odpoveduje reformnim načrtom. Vendar so se socialne reforme dosledno izvajale ves čas in se v zadnjem času še zaostrile. V članku bomo trditev preverjali z analizo reformnih dokumentov v delu, ki se nanaša na socialno varstvo in socialno zaščito. Osredotočili se bomo na konceptualne premike in pomene, ki jih imajo za spremembo v razumevanju socialne države in blaginje ljudi.
