In this case, what differentiates the semantics of words is not only a mode of use and reception (common sense vs. expert knowledge), but also another kind of perception, given the fact that the semantics of the lexeme infrarouge refer to a reality that cannot be perceived through vision. In the case of infrarouge, the scientific definition seems to be necessary without an alternative, while the semantics of the lexeme rouge records characteristics typical of the common lexicon. Indeed, the definition of rougeattributes to objects chromatic properties which, from a scientific point of view, they do not have: in physics, colour is not the property of an object, but a wavelength of lightExaminons les définitions de lexemes tels que rouge et infrarouge, apparemment proches du point de vue du signifiant et du signifié. Ce qui différencie la sémantiquedes mots est non seulement un mode d'utilisation et de réception (sens commun vs. savoir expert), mais aussi un autre mode de perception, compte tenu du fait que la sémantique du lexeme infrarouge a comme référent une réalité qui ne peut etre perçue grâce a la vision. Dans le cas d'infrarouge la définition scientifique semble etre nécessaire, tandis que la sémantique du lexeme rouge enregistre des caractéristiques typiques du lexique commun. En effet, la définition de rouge attribue aux objets des propriétés chromatiques que, d'un point de vue scientifique, ils n'ont pas : en physique, la couleur n'est pas la propriété de l'objet mais une longueur d'ondeV prispevku obravnavamo definicije leksemov rdeče (rouge) in infrardeče (infrarouge), ki sta si navidezno blizu na ravni označenca in označevalca. Kar razlikuje pomen obeh besed, ni le raba in sprejemanje (splošno védenje proti ekspertnemu znanju), pač pa tudi drugačen način razumevanja, saj se pomen leksema infrardeče (infrarouge) nanaša na realnost, ki je z vidom ne moremo zaznati. V primeru infrarouge se znanstvena definicija zdi nujna, pomen leksema rdeče pa pripada splošnemu besedišču.
