The processing laser beam in our new system is deflected in one direction by a hexagonal mirror prism rotating at a constant angular velocity.Each laser pulse produces a dot-shaped mark (a \"laser dot\") on the surface of the workpiece. By scanning the beam along a straight line we achieve a linear, uniformly distributed pattern of laser dots. The linear translation stage below the beam deflector moves the workpiece in a direction perpendicular to the line. The result is a two-dimensional raster (matrix) pattern consisting of an arbitrary number of lines with up to 200 laser dots per line. We have developed a microprocessor-based marking-system controller that coordinates the operation of the laser source, the laser-beam deflector and the linear translator in such a way that it is possible to produce arbitrary dotted raster patterns. The system was tested by marking one- and two- dimensional patterns. The tests showed that the system is suitable for the rapid production of simple dotted patterns on workpieces that are moving on production belts"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Prispevek predstavlja razvoj optomehatronskega sistema, ki omogoča izdelavo rastrskih vzorcev pri laserskem označevanju. Sistem deluje tako, da v eni osi odklanjamo obdelovalni laserski žarek s pomočjo poligonskega zrcala v obliki šesterokotne prizme, ki se vrti s konstantno kotno hitrostjo. Vsak laserski blisk povzroči na površini obdelovanca označbo v obliki točke. Z odklanjanjem žarka dosežemo, da so točkaste označbe razvrščene enakomerno v ravni črti - vrstici. Pomična miza, ki je pod odklanjalom, omogoča pomik obdelovanca pravokotno na vrstico. Rezultat obojega je dvorazsežna rastrska (matrična) označba z do dvesto točkami v smeri odklanjanja žarka. Razvili smo mikroprocesorski krmilnik sistema, ki omogoča usklajeno delovanje laserja, odklanjala ter pomične mize in s tem izdelavo točkovne oznake na obdelovancu na poljubnem mestu rastra. Sistem je bil preizkušen z označevanjem eno- in dvodimenzionalnih rastrskih označb.
