The author focuses on the analysis of two high-school textbooks, Branja (Readings) and Svet književnosti (The World of Literature). The results of the analysis show that the proportion of these authors is seriously low, while some important literary works from this part of the world, in particular from Slovak literature, have been omitted. The paper presents and gives reasins for the selected literary canon in hig-school textbooks, also providing suggestions for the improvement of the current curriculum and education on the central-European area"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Prispevek prinaša analizo zastopanosti književnih del, katerih avtorji prihajajo iz zahodnoslovanskega sveta, v srednješolskih berilih.
