Besides all advantages it nevertheless triggers numerous dilemmas, how new buildings should be placed inalready formed urban environments without causing aesthetic or functional degradation and simultaneously wouldn't deny legitimate investment expectations concerning profitability. The article deals with methodology for assessing and stimulating urban design criteria and economic efficiency of projects in development/rehabilitation of urban sites. The method's utility isshown by analysis of cases of substitute or infill developments in Ljubljana(multi-apartment building on Gradaška street and the Condominium in Trnovski pristan), whose unconventionality attracted the wider public's attention, but from the urban design aspect in many ways disregard the place'spresent character</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Notranji razvoj mest se v sodobni urbanistični praksi kaže kot ena najbolj vzdržnih oblik razvoja mest, ki ima številne prednosti pred širjenjem mest na nova zemljišča. Uporabnost te metode je prikazanana analizi ljubljanskih primerov nadomestne oziroma dopolnilne gradnje (večstanovanjski objekt na Gradaški ulici in kondominij v Trnovskem pristanu), ki sta s svojo nekonvencionalnostjo vzbudila pozornost širše javnosti, z vidika urbanističnooblikovalskih meril pa v marsičem zanikata zdajšnji značaj prostora</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-FB674118"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-FB674118" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-FB674118/431dc321-118b-4fe3-8aca-3a9f4ca7527b/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Urbanistični inštitut Republike Slovenije</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-FB674118/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-FB674118" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
