S poznavanjem pooperativnih in poobsevalnih sprememb, vidnih na mamogramih in s poznavanjem njihove časovne dinamike, ter uporabo vseh razpoložljivih mamografskih tehnik pa lahko z mamografijo zelo zgodaj odkrijemo recidiv.
