One of them is the so called split between aesthetics and ideology, between "the old ways" and "the new ways", between "literature" and "culture". She tries to show on the one hand that such polarisation can be problematic, and, on the other, that the reorientation does challenge some traditional paradigms - in the forefront here is the canon of literary works and its most representative author, W. Shakespeare, as a metaphor for the concepts of authorship, greatness, high vs. low culture etc. She then elaborates on the problematization of meaning-making and our social realities.Finally, she presents some theoretical work of approaching the concept of canon</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Avtorica se najprej posveti kontroverzam, ki so danes relevantne v literarni kritiki in tako tudi v poučevanju literature oziroma obstoječi doktrini književne vzgoje in kurikulu. Ena od njih je t. i. razcep med estetiko in ideologijo, med "starimi" in "novimi" načini interpretacije, med "literaturo" in "kulturo". Avtorica poskuša po eni strani pokazati, da je taka delitev problematična, po drugi pa, da nova reorientacija postavlja izziv nekaterim tradicionalnim paradigmam - tu je v ospredju literarni kanon in njegov najbolj reprezentativni avtor, W. Shakespeare, kot metafora za koncepte avtorstva, veličine, visoke in nizke kulture ipd. Avtorica nato problematizira ustvarjanje pomenov in družbene realnosti.
