We were especially interested in comparisons with selected countries (Finland, Estonia, and Norway), and also, in places, comparisons with other countries included in PISA 2006, especially student performance at the OECD average. An analysis of between-school and within-school differences in student performance indicates that the large differences in performance of Slovenian students must be attributed to the various secondary-school programs that Slovenian 15-year-olds were enrolled in when tested. All of the additional calculations that we used to help explain the performance of Slovenian students versus their peers from the countries compared (with predictors included) indicate that the calculations and interpretation of between-school and within-school differences in student performance presented in the PISA 2006 report are not precise enough because they overlook certain important differences between the school systems in different countries. Taking into account the findings presented in the PISA 2006 report, our own calculations, and various concepts of educational system fairness and effectiveness, we determined that the economic, social, and cultural status (ESCS) of students' parents has an important effect on student performance at the primary level. Findings from the analysis of primary and secondary effects of social inequality (student inclusion in various educational programs, student aspirations and motivations in various educational programs,the grades that they 'bring' with themselves, and the role of ESCS in inclusion in various programs despite having identical grades in school) indicate that mechanisms and measures must be created in the Slovenian school system to reduce the effects of social inequality"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V sekundarni študiji smo naravoslovne dosežke slovenskih učencev/dijakov, zbranih v okviru mednarodne primerjalne raziskave znanja PISA 2006, analizirali na ozadju socialne reprodukcije. Posebej so nas zanimale primerjave z izbranimi državami: Finsko, Estonijo in Norveško, mestoma pa tudi primerjave z drugimi vključenimi državami, zlasti z dosežki učencev/dijakov na ravni povprečja držav OECD. Rezultati analize razlik v dosežkih učencev/dijakov med šolami in znotraj šole kažejo, da je treba velike razlike v dosežkih slovenskih učencev/dijakov med šolami pripisati različnim srednješolskim izobraževalnim programom, v katere so bili naši 15-letniki že vključeni v času preverjanja znanja. Tudi vsi nadaljnji izračuni, s pomočjo katerih smo dosežke slovenskih učencev/dijakov in njihovih vrstnikov iz primerjanih držav pojasnjevali z vključenimi napovedniki, kažejo, da izračuni in interpretacija o razlikah v dosežkih učencev/dijakov med šolami in v šolah, ki je prikazana v poročilu PISA 2006, niso dovolj natančni, ker spregledajo nekatere pomembne razlike med šolskimi sistemi v različnih državah. Upoštevajoč rezultate, prikazane v poročilu PISA 2006, lastne izračune in različne koncepte pravičnosti in učinkovitosti izobraževalnega sistema, smo ugotovili, da ima ekonomski, socialni in kulturni status staršev učencev/dijakov (ESKS) na primarni ravni pomemben učinek na dosežke učencev/dijakov. Izsledki analize primarnih in sekundarnih učinkov socialne neenakosti (vključitev učencev/učenk v različne izobraževalne programe, aspiracija in motivacija dijakov/dijakinj v različnih izobraževalnih programih, ocene, ki jih prinesejo s seboj, vloga ESKS pri vključitvi v različne programe ob enakih šolskih ocenah) pa kažejo, da je treba v slovenskem šolskem sistemu izoblikovati mehanizme in ukrepe, s katerimi bi zmanjševali učinke socialne neenakosti"}],"edm:type":"TEXT","dc:type":[{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"znanstveno časopisje"},{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"journals"},{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785"}]},"ore:Aggregation":{"@rdf:about":"http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-JHT211CA","edm:aggregatedCHO":{"@rdf:resource":"URN:NBN:SI:doc-JHT211CA"},"edm:isShownBy":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-JHT211CA/211bcb17-6d20-4828-98d4-46fa5324298d/PDF"},"edm:rights":{"@rdf:resource":"http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"},"edm:provider":"Slovenian National E-content Aggregator","edm:intermediateProvider":{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"National and University Library of Slovenia"},"edm:dataProvider":{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Slovensko društvo raziskovalcev šolskega polja"},"edm:object":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-JHT211CA/maxi/edm"},"edm:isShownAt":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-JHT211CA"}}}}
