Heads of hospitals where duty service is performed, have answered the questionnaires about the doctors who perform duty service. Specialists and trainees in gynecology and obstetrics perform duty service on 21 posts and on 6 on-call posts. In Slovenia there are 287 active specialists in gynecology and obstetrics. 139 (48.4%) among them are active on the primary level (outpatient clinics) and 148 (51.6%) in the hospitals and both clinical centres. Among hospital gynecologists and obstetricians 54 (36.5%) of them are older than 55 years. Duty service of gyecology and obstetrics in Slovenia does not meet legislation criteria regarding doctors' work time. Adequate changes for increasing the number of available doctors for duty service are proposed"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Dežurna ginekološkoporodniška služba je v Sloveniji organizirana po regionalnem načelu in jo zagotavlja deset regionalnih splošnih bolnišnic, dve bolnišnici za ginekologijo in porodništvo ter dva univerzitetna klinična centra. Predstojniki bolnišnic, kjer se opravlja dežurna služba, so odgovorilina vprašalnik o zdravnikih, ki opravljajo dežurno službo. Specialisti ter specializanti ginekologije in porodništva dežurajo na 21 dežurnih mestih, 6 dežurnih mest pa je v pripravljenosti. V Sloveniji deluje 287 aktivnih specialistov ginekologije in porodništva. Od tega jih je 139 (48,4 %) na primarni ravni (dispanzerska dejavnost), 148 (51,6 %) pa v bolnišnicah in obeh kliničnih centrih. 54 (36;5 %) ginekologov porodničarjev, ki delajo v bolnišnicah, je starejših od 55 let. Dežurna ginekološko-porodniška služba v Sloveniji ne deluje v skladu z veljavnimi zakoni o delovnem času zdravnikov.
