In this paper, we present several factors that are associated with csrs. We touch upon individual differences in sexual behaviour and motives for participating in csrs. We establish that csrs are a part of a broader social context, define the term hookup culture and present some of the characteristic situations and scripts that predict csrs. We empha- size psychological consequences of csrs, more specifically emotional responses to csrs and their connection with mental health and well- being. We suggest that the psychological aspect of casual sex should be given as much attention in education as the health aspect"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Priložnostni spolni odnosi so pogost pojav, v katerega se vključujejo predvsem mladostniki in mladi na prehodu v odraslost. V prispevku smo predstavili različne dejavnike, s katerimi se priložno- stni spolni odnosi povezujejo. Dotaknili smo se osebnostnih razlik v spolnem vedenju in motivov za vključevanje v priložnostne spolne od- nose. Priložnostne spolne odnose smo umestili v širši družbeni kon- tekst, opredelili pojem kultura priložnostnih spolnih odnosov in pred- stavili nekatere značilne situacije ter skripte, ki določajo njihovo pri- mernost. Proti koncu smo se osredotočili na psihološke posledice pri- ložnostnih spolnih odnosov, konkretneje, na čustvene odzive in na po- vezanost priložnostnih spolnih odnosov z duševnim zdravjem ter bla- gostanjem.
