The manufacture runs in technological phases which are today too expensive, while the process stability is still not within the limits as required by automotive industry. Introduction of high-temperature thermomechanical treatment (VTTMO) for gear rims improves their mechanical properties Rm, A, Rp0,2, and it simultaneously essentially reduces residual stresses. Further, we will try to establish the influence of steel microalloying elements upon a reduction of gear rim deformations. The major technological problem lies in deformations. In our research project we found the real cause of problems, technical and technological solution, and with a thermomechanical treatment and induction heating we reduced energy consumption, optimized technology for robotized production of 1,900.000 starter ring gears</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Program zobatih vencev je visokospecializiran program za izdelavo obročev in zobatih vencev za avtomobilsko industrijo. Izdelava poteka po tehnoloških fazah, ki so v tem trenutku predrage, stabilnost procesa pa ni v mejah, ki jih zahteva avtomobilska industrija. Uvedba visokotemperaturne termomehanske obdelave (VTTMO) zobatih vencev izboljšuje mehanske lastnosti vencev Rm, A, Rp0.2, hkrati pa bistveno vpliva na znižanje zaostalih napetosti. V nadaljevanju naloge bomo skušali ugotoviti vpliv mikrolegiranosti jekla na povišanje mehanskih lastnosti in žilavosti ter vpliv legirnih elementov na zmanjševanje deformacij zobatih vencev. Največji tehnološki problem predstavljajo deformacije.
