Podnebne spremembe pa ne motijo le narave, temveč vplivajo tudi na podjetja in njihove dobavne verige. Številna podjetja so v zadnjem času prepoznala pozitivne učinke zelenih in krožnih praks upravljanja dobavnih verig. Oskrbovalne verige, ki dobavljajo izdelke z vsega sveta, so vse bolj izpostavljene vplivom spreminjajočega se podnebja in omejenih virov. V tej raziskavi je bilo ugotovljeno, kako podnebne spremembe vplivajo na dobavne verige v živilskem, avtomobilskem in energetskem sektorju.
