Attention is paid to the causes of the plague and ways of doing away with it, which naturally change according to the literary means of expression (poetry, prose, novel) and the historical context (polytheism of antiquity, medieval monotheism, modern atheism). At the end, an interpretation of the current pandemic is provided"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Članek obravnava motiv »kuge« v izbranih literarnih besedilih: kuga v grškem taboru iz prvega speva Homerjeve Iliade; uvodni nagovor iz Boccaccievega Dekamerona; in Camusev roman Kuga. Posebna pozornost velja vzrokom za kugo in sredstvom za njeno odpravo, ki se seveda spreminjajo tako glede na literarna izrazna sredstva (poezija, proza, roman) kot tudi glede na zgodovinski kontekst (antični politeizem, srednjeveški monoteizem, moderni ateizem).
