The author reflects of further 'automobilization' of Slovenia, changes in population numbers and distribution, as well as measures for rationalising the settlement structures and movement. Possible measures for dealing with the present conditions are the establishment of optimal settlement patterns and public transportation system. The presented ideas are illustrated with foreign and domestic practical examples</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Poselitev Slovenije postaja vsebolj razpršena in nesmotrna z vidika javnih interesov in načel trajnostnega razvoja. V prispevku so predstavljena razmišljanja o nadaljni "automobilizaciji" Slovenije, gibanju števila prebivalstva in razmestitev le-tega in ukrepom za racionalizacijo poselitvene strukture ter gibanja. Kot ukrepi za reševanja nastalih razmer se ponujajo uvedba optimalnih poselitvenih vzorcev in javnega potniškega prometa.
