Key importance in supporting this is held by the understanding of knowledge and the organisation of education. This article discusses the various strategies of organising the curriculum within the public education system. The first part of this article offers an overview of the main principles of organising the curriculum and various possibilities for designing the education curriculum. The second part provides a critical review of the various effects of organisational principles which are characteristic of the democratisation of organisational principles in education, and a comparative review of various models of including diversity and difference and the associated designing of adequate systems for management and administration. In the conclusion to this article, the author identifies the main challenges faced by the field of education in a modern democratic society"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Sodobno družbo pogosto označujemo kot družbo znanja, pri čemer velja podariti, da ima ta oznaka lahko različne konotacije. Ključni pomen pri utemeljevanju le-te ima razumevanje znanja in organizacija edukacije. Članek obravnava različne strategije organizacije kurikula znotraj javnega sistema vzgoje in izobraževanje. Prvi del prispevka prinaša pregled najpomembnejših načel organizacije kurikula ter različnih možnosti oblikovanja šolskega kurikula. Drugi del prispevka ponuja kritični pregled različnih učinkov organizacijskih načel, ki so značilni za demokratizacijo organizacijskih principov šole primerjalni pregled različnih modelov vključevanja različnosti in drugačnosti ter s tem povezano oblikovanje ustreznih sistemov vodenja in upravljanja.
