Purpose: The aim of the research study was to categorize appropriate ed ucational methods that can be used for gifted children in preschool age and to show that the classical form of punishment in such cases is not appropriate and effective. In addition, the purpose of this study is to inform all educators and parents of gifte d children on the most appropriate approach that should be used with a gifted child and how to promote their talent and not suppressed it. Method: A qualitative method was used that used the interview approach with the application of the seven steps rule. Results: The study showed that gifted children in preschool age need a specialized approach to education and to punish such a child can lead to the inhibition of his/her abilities. Organization: The study will help educators that work with gifted children . Society: The research presents to parents and society the difficulties that they might encounter with gifted children in preschool age in cases where they do not establish an appropriate relationship . Originality: This research study examines the issue of gifted childrens reaction to punishment. Such studies are not common and are original in its method and sample. Limitations/Future Research : The study here is restricted to two cases of gifted children . A further direction of research would be to includ e more examples and explore the various viewpoints of educators "},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Raziskovalno vprašanje (RV) : Kako pristopiti k vzgoji nadarjenega otroka v predšolski dobi, da lahko izkoristi vse svoje naravne potenciale? Namen: Pri raziskavi s mo ţelel i opredeliti primerne vzgojne metode, ki jih lahko uporabljamo pri nadarjenih otrocih v predšolski dobi in dokazati, da klasična oblika kaz novanja v takih primerih ni primerna in učinkovita. Z raziskavo s mo ţelel i spodbuditi vse vzgojitelje in starše nadarjenih otrok, kakšen naj bo njihov pristop do otroka, ki je nadarjen in na kakšen način to nadarjenost spodbujati in je ne zatreti. Metoda: Kvalitativna metoda: intervju z uporabo pravil v sedmih korakih. Rezultati: Raziskava pokaţe, da nadarjeni otroci v predšolski dobi potrebujejo poseben pristop pri vzgoji in da kaznovanje takega otroka lahko pripelje do zavrtja njegovih sposobnosti. Organ izacija : Raziskava bo vzgojiteljem v pomoč pri vzgoji in delu z nadarjenimi otroki. Družba: Raziskava staršem in druţbi nazorno prikaţe teţave, s katerimi se lahko srečajo nadarjeni otroci v predšolski dobi v primerih, ko z njimi ne vzpostavijo primernega odnosa. Originalnost: V raziskavi s mo se prvič lotil i vprašanja, kako se nadarjen otrok v predšolski dobi odziva na kazen , take raziskave niso pogoste in nihče še ni uporabil take metode in takega vzorca. Omejitve/nadaljnje raziskovanje : V raziskavi s mo se omejil i samo na dva primera nadarjenih otrok.
