By the pattern of neoposivistic tradition, he takes philosophy only as an auxilliary activity, as it is contradictory in itself, inside of it their is a cognitive contradiction between materialism and idealism which is actually affirened in their relation to science and in their distancing from ideologyRazmerje med filozofijo in znanostjo je eno izmed poglavitnih vprašanj v dokaj obsežnem ustvarjelnem opusu sodobnega francoskega filozofa Pierra Raymonda (r.1942), teoretika, ki je problemsko izšel iz Althusserjeve filozofske šole. Teoretično se skuša osvoboditi Althusserjevega vpliva in se sprva odloči za nov predmet filozofske refleksije - matematiko.
