It is necessary to choose an appropriate cultivation system, which depends on the geographical characteristics of the plot, such as the properties of the soil, bedrock or sediment, slope, exposure, wind direction, surface water runoff and radiation. The article presents an example of the use of flooded land with toxic sludge after floods using vertical systems. These are cultivation approaches where, by loading biomass, we raise the cultivation area and separate it from the base soil. These approaches enable immediate food production in a safe manner, since the root systems of the plants are not in contact with the parent soil"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Težke kovine škodljivo vplivajo na prst, ker ovirajo procese humifikacije v prsti. V zemlji prisotne težke kovine se vgradijo v rastline in preidejo v prehranjevalno verigo ter povzročajo huda obolenja. Potrebno je izbrati ustrezen pridelovalni sistem, ki pa je odvisen od geografske lastnosti parcele kot so lastnosti prsti, matična kamnina oz. sediment, naklon, ekspozicija, smer vetra, odtok površinske vode in sevanja. V prispevku je prikazan primer rabe poplavljenih zemljišč s toksičnim muljem po poplavah z uporabo vertikalnih sistemov. Gre za pridelovalne pristope, kjer z nalaganjem biomas dvignemo pridelovalno površino in jo ločimo od osnovne zemljine.
