Most of the cases (16) were chondrosarcomas. The mean age of the patients - 13 male and 14 female - was 41years. As to surgical radicality, 11 wide, 10 marginal and 6 intralesional resections were performed. After a mean follow-up period of 3 years (0.5-11 years) 19 patients are alive and tumour-free, 2 with tumour, 4 have died and 2have been lost to follow-up. As postsurgical complication a wound-healing disorder and inguinal hernia occurred in 5 cases, surgical field thrombosis with secondary compartment syndrome and renal insufficiency developed in one case. The authors draw attention to the difficulties and indications for pelvic resections (internal hemipelvectomies)</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-UZ03H5ZU"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-UZ03H5ZU" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-UZ03H5ZU/c3ee2ea0-7f9f-4890-aca1-18e9e90e8632/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Onkološki inštitut Ljubljana</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-UZ03H5ZU/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-UZ03H5ZU" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
