The new rhythm in the process of contemporary studies of Polish literature, the signs of which are evident as early as in the 1990s, is due to the changed circumstances in the Slovenian book market and the establishment of a young generation of translators, but it is probably also an expression of new orientations in Slovenian culture. New translations have improved the image of the early modernist formation of Polish literature, while, with the rise of postmodernism and recent trends, these translations are beginning to follow current evolutionary processes. The paradigm of the modern subject, as offered by Polish literature in recent decades, is entering the Slovenian cultural space as an alternative to the contemporary Central European model, to which both the source and the target cultures belong"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Ob koncu prvega in na začetku drugega desetletja 21. stoletja je opazna nova dinamika v oblikovanju podobe poljske književnosti, kot jo v slovenski kulturni zavesti ustvarjajo prevodni repertoarji založb in motivacije prevajalcev. Nov ritem v procesu sodobnega spoznavanja poljske književnosti, katerega znamenja se pojavljajo že v devetdesetih letih, je rezultat spremenjenih razmer na slovenskem knjižnem trgu, uveljavljanja mlajših prevajalcev, verjetno pa je tudi izraz novih usmeritev v slovenski kulturi. Novi prevodi so izpopolnili podobo zgodnje modernistične formacije poljske književnosti, na prehodu v postmodernizem in najnovejše smeri pa začenjajo slediti aktualnim razvojnim procesom.
