Pomen njegovega prispevka slovenski arhitekturi in kulturi je predstavljen skozi perspektivo večrazsežnostne dejavnosti, s poudarkom na vlogi urbanista slovenske obale. Posamezni deli iz njegovega opusa so predstavljeni z vidika časa nastanka, uporabe in arhitekturne vrednosti, pomen in vloga zamisli ter trendov pa skozi dela.
