The motif of eye is emphatically present in works of numerous contemporary poets, but realized in very different ways. Among collections of poems in which the motif is implied already in the title, Gregor Strniša's 1974 collection Oko (The Eye), Jože Udovič's 1982 collection Oko in senca (The Eye and the Shadow), and Ivan Minatti's poetic cycle Oko sonca (The Sun's Eye), published in the 1984 anthology Prisluškujem tišini v sebi (Hearkening to the Silence Inside Me), are analysed. In the poetry of these three authors, the motif of the eye apperas with different intensities and in differnet forms. It is continously present throughout their poetry, but reaches its zenith in the above collections"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Predmet razprave je sopostavitev treh zbirk treh pesnikov sodobne povojne lirike, ki jih raziskujemo v enem segmentu, to je motivu očesa in poetiki pogleda. Motiv očesa je pri mnogih sodobnih pesnikih nespregledljivo prisoten in zelo različno realiziran. Za interpretacijo smo izmed pesniških zbirk, ki imajo motiv očesa nakazan že v naslovu, smo izbrali zbirko Gregorja Strniše OKo iz leta 1974, pesniško zbirko Oko in senca iz leta 1982 Jožeta Udoviča in pesniški cikel Oko sonca Ivana Minattija, ki je bil objavljen v antologiji Prisluškujem tišini v sebi leta 1984.
