Arhitektura, raziskavearhitekturna dediščinaindustrijska arhitekturaspomeniško varstvovrednotenjeIndustrijska arhitekturna dediščina in razvoj načel varstva| Industrial architectural heritage and development of the philosophy of protection|The article analyses influences of integrating industrial architectural heritage into the corpus of architectural heritage and consequential influences a theory of architectural heritage protection. Research showed mutual influences between this new heritage category and protection theory, which dialectically recondition each other. Such finding established after researching the development of philosophy = conservation principles of the last fifty years, namely by analysis of value enteric definitions of protection categories in important international protection documents produced during the period. In continuation the analysis of characteristics of such architecture pointe criteria for its evaluation, which exceed the framework of artistic, author's evaluation, and established a criteria system that includes criteria of construction, design innovativeness, functionality and economic efficiency. Research of these newly established value elements would be sensible even within older heritage categories. The mentioned values have true comparative significance for evaluation of architecture of all periods. This new heritage category therefore proves to be a new starting point for more objective evaluation of architectural heritageV članku so analizirani vplivi vključevanja industrijske arhitekturne dediščine v korpus arhitekturne dediščine in posledični vplivi na teorijo varstva arhitekturne dediščine. Raziskovanje pokaže vzajemnost vplivanja nove kategorije dediščine in varstvene teorije, ki se tako dialektično sooblikujeta. Slednje je bilo ugotovljeno na osnovi raziskovanja razvoja načel varstvene stroke v zadnjih petdesetih letih, in sicer z analizo vrednostnih kriterijev ter opredelitvami varstvenih kategorij v pomembnih mednarodnih varstvenih listinah. Drugo izhodišče so značilnosti industrijske arhitekturne dediščine in zanje razviti kriteriji vrednotenja. Analiza razvojnih značilnosti pokaže smernice za oblikovanje kriterijev njenega vrednotenja, ki presegajo okvire umetniškega avtorskega vrednotenja, in vzpostavi kriterijski sistem, ki vključuje kriterije konstrukcijske in oblikovne inovativnosti, funkcionalnosti ter ekonomske učinkovitosti. Tako so vzpostavljeni novi vrednostni elementi, ki jih je smiselno preučevati tudi znotraj starejših kategorij dediščine. Prej omenjene vrednote so namreč primerjalno pomembne za vrednotenje arhitekture vseh obdobij.
