A case study is used to demonstrate deviations in Slovenian monument protection, which has been historically and professionally committed to the conservation principles of the Vienna school. A number of procedures for restoring architectural structures in the sense of Viollet-le-Duc's approaches were carried out in practice, not only after the Second World War, when such interventions became more common due to extensive damage during the war, but also several decades after that. The study shows that reconstruction measures are carried out for various reasons, but that they always reflect the historical context in which they are created"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V prispevku predstavljamo analizo, pomen in vpliv tako imenovanega Viollet le Ducovega spomeniškovarstvenega pristopa k reševanju arhitekturnih spomenikov iz sredine 19. stoletja, do katerega so bili kritični njegovi sodobniki in tudi poznejših snovalci spomeniškovarstvenih načel. S študijo primera bomo poskušali dokazati odstopanja spomeniškega varstva v Sloveniji, zgodovinsko in strokovno zavezanega konservatorskim načelom dunajske šole. V praksi so bili zabeleženi - ne le po drugi svetovni vojni, ko so postali zaradi masovnih vojnih uničenj taki posegi aktualnejši, temveč tudi desetletja pozneje - številni postopki restavriranja arhitekturnih objektov, izvedeni v smislu Viollet-le-Ducovih pristopov.
