The species was supposed to be of Sarmatian age. After inspection and determination of nannoplankton in the sediment that filled the snail tests it was found that the nannoplankton florabelongs to the NN 1 biozone, i. e. the Lower Miocene, Egerian stageV prispevku je obravnavana razmeroma redka sladkovodna in brakična vrsta polža Brotia (Tinnyea) escheri, katere hišice so bile najdene v miocenskih plasteh Tunjiškega gričevja. Domnevali smo, da so sarmatijske starosti.
