They were prepared according to principles of sustainable development. In these guidelines future sustainable management of the built environment is directed towards rehabilitation of the present condition. These guidelines are integrated in Slovenian normatiove and evaluation documents. However, since these documents, especially the normative ones, are not mutualy cohorent and do not have necessary backup in development plans, guidelines, by-laws, modelsand different stimulation or restrictions, contemporary planning of the built environment doesn't manifest itself in our space. On the contrary, multi-layered deterioration of our cultural landscape continues relentlessly"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Ker se pogoji življenja v bivalnih okoljih vidno slabšajo, je mednarodna skupnost oblikovala posebna priporočila za razvoj mest in drugih naselij (Carigrajska deklaracija in Agenda Habitat). Obilkovana so na osnovi sprejetihnačel trajnostnega razvoja. V oblikovanih priporočilih je bodoče trajnostno urejanje bivalnega prostora usmerjeno v sanacijo (prenovo) obstoječega stanja. Ta priporočila so vključena v slovenske normativne in vrednostne dokumente. Ker ap dokumenti, predvsem normativni, niso med seboj usklajeni in jim ne sledijo podrobni zavezujoči in novim hotenjem prilagojeni izvedbeni dokumenti, priporočila, navodila, modeli in različne spodbude in omejitve, se sodobno trajnostno načrtovanje bivalnega okolja v našem prostoru ne odraža.
