Opisana je meritev srednjega časa dostave dokumentov iz zaprtega skladišča v eni knjižnici po metodologiji standarda ISO 11620. Nadalje so prikazani pomen kreativnega reševanja problemov v tranzicijskem času knjižnic ob hitrem razvoju tehnologije in primeri izkoriščenih priložnosti v nekaterih tujih knjižnicah. Na koncu je opisana povezava timskih meritev uspešnosti delovanja knjižnic s krea- tivnim reševanjem problemov pri seminarskih nalogah študentov bibliotekarstva. Podani so rezultati merjenj srednjega časa iskanja dokumentov v prostem pristo- pu z analizo stanja in nekaterimi predlogi študentov za izboljšave. The measurement of the medium tirne of document delivery from closed stacks in one library according to the methodology of standard ISO 11620 is described. Further, the significance of creative problem solving in libraries in transition in the light of fast technological development is presented, followed by cases of used opportunities from foreign libraries. In the conclusion, the link between time measurements of library performance and creative problem solving in the frames of seminar papers of students of librarianship is presented. The results of the measurements of the medium time of document search in open access are presented together with the analysis of the state of affairs and some students' suggestions for improvements.
