Major General Military Governor and Allied Commander British-United States Zone Ref. : LD\Af51fl52 Free Territory of Trieste Order No. 137 DECLARATION OF PUBLIC UTILITY AND OF URGENT AND UNDELAYABLE NECESSITY OF THE ROAD-WORKS ON THE STRETCH OF THE ROSANDRA PROVINCIAL ROAD FROM LACODISCE TO RONCA WHEREAS the road-works on the stretch of the Rosandra provincial-road from Lacodisce to Ronca in that part of the Free Territory of Trieste administered by the British-United States Forces are considered to be of public utility and of urgent and undelayable necessity nod, WHEEREAS no objection or claims have been lodged during the investigations, NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOHN L. WHITELAW, Brigadier General U. S. Army, Director General, Civil Affairs, ORDER: ARTICLE I All works for rectification of the bend and the works of general arrangement of the Ro-sandra provincial-road on the stretch from Lacodisce to Ronca, according to the general plan submitted by the Provincia of Trieste, are heieby declared to be of public utility and of urgent and undelayable necessity in accordance with and to the effects of the Law 25 June 1865 Ho. 2359, as amended by the Law dated 18 December 1879, No. 5188, and of the R. D. 8 February 1923, No. 422. ARTICLE II The expropriation proceedings and the works shall begin within 60 days from the date of this Order and shall be completed by 30 June 1952. ARTICLE III The general plan mentioned in Article 1 of this Order, and the summary report of the works attached to this Order are marked respectively Annex „A“ and Annex „11“, and have been deposited at the Department of Legal Affairs of Allied Military Government, where they may be freely inspected by all persons interested. ARTICLE. IV Order No. 109 dated 14 June 1951 is hereby repealed. ARTICLE V This Order shall become effective on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
