A., Trieste 1950 ALLIED MILITARY GOVERNMEN British - United States Zone-Free Territory of Trieste T Order No. 46 ABOLITION OF „CASSA PER IL TRATTAMENTO DEGLI OPERAI DELL’INDUSTRIA RICHIAMATI ALLE ARMI“ WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to provide for the abolition of the „ Gassa per il trattamento degli operai dell’industria richiamati alle armi“ in that part of the Free Territory of Trieste administered by the British- United States Forces ; NOW, THEREFORE, I, CLYDE D. EDDLEMAN, Brigadier General U.S. Army, Director General, Civil Affairs, ORDER: ARTICLE 1 The collective bargaining labour contracts stipulated on 15 June 1940 between the former Confederation of Industrialists and the former Confederations of workers in industry, commerce and agriculture, concerning the treatment of workers of industrial concerns called to Armed Forces in cases of exceptional need and the institution of the „Cassa per il trattamento degli operai dell’industria richiamati alle armi“, as well as the collective bargaining labour contracts stipulated on 15 January 1941 between the said Confederations concerning the granting of a Christmas Bonus to such workers, and any further provisions modifying or integrating the aforesaid contracts, are hereby rescinded. ARTICLE II Section i — Requests by the entitled persons for benefits chargeable to the „Cassa per il trattamento degli operai dell’industria richiamati alle armi“, those for reimbursement by the employers, and those for contributions due by them, shall be submitted within six months as from the effective date of this Order. After this time-limit the relative right shall be forfeited. Section 2 — The provisions quoted in Article I hereof shall transitorily continue to apply to the obligations referred to in the preceding Section. ARTICLE III At the „Istituto Nazionale della Previdenza Sociale“ there shall be instituted a special management for the liquidation of the „Cassa per il trattamento degli operai dell’industria richiamati alle armi“, to be administered by the organs („organi“) of the „Cassa per il trattamento di richiamo alle armi degli impiegati privati“, Section of Industry. Section I — The final balance of accounts of the „Cassa per il trattamento degli operai dell’industria richiamati alle armi“ shall be approved by the Board of Directors of the „Istituto Nazionale della Previdenza Sociale“ after hearing the organs („organi“) referred to in Article III. Section 2 — The balance left shall be transferred to the „Cassa per il trattamento di richiamo alle armi degli impiegati privati“, Section of Industry. Section 3 — The balance of the Section of Industry, „Cassa per il trattamento di richiamo alle armi degli impiegati privati“ shall be transferred to the Social Solidarity Fund established by Order No. 462, dated 11 September 1947. Army Eef. : LDIAI50I32 Director General, Civil Affairs Order No. 47 SUPPLEMENT FOR ASSESSMENT EXPENSES OF UNIFIED CONTRIBUTIONS IN AGRICULTURE FOR THE YEAR 1950 WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to determine the amount of the supplement to be collected in 1950 in addition to the unified contributions in agriculture under the heading of assessment expenses of the said contributions in that part of the Free Territory of Trieste administered by the British- United States forces ; NOW, THEREFORE, I, CLYDE D. EDDLEMAN Brigadier General U.S. Army Ref.: LDIAI50I46 Director General, Civil Affairs Order No. 48 APPROVAL OF THE NEW STATUTE OF THE SERBIAN ORTHODOX COMMUNITY OF TRIESTE WHEREAS the general assembly of the Brotherhood of the Serbian Orthodox Community of Trieste has considered it necessary to amend the existing Statute of the said Community ; and WHEREAS the Zone President has recommended the approval of the new Statute as amended ; NOW, THEREFORE, I, CLYDE D. Army Ref. : LDfAf 50/45 Director General, Civil Affairs Order No. 49 WITHDRAWAL FROM CIRCULATION WITHIN THE ZONE OF AM-LIRE AND OF BANKNOTES OF THE „BANCA DTTALIA“ IN DENOMINATIONS OF 50 AND 100 LIRE OF VARIOUS ISSUES WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to provide for the withdrawal from circulation of AM--Lire and of banknotes of the „Banca d’Italia“ in denominations of 50 Hire and 100 Lire of certain issues, in that part of the Free Territory of Trieste administered by the British- United States Forces (hereinafter referred to as the „Zone“) ; NOW, THEREFORE, I, CLYDE D. EDDLEMAN, Brigadier General U.S. Army, Director General, Civil Affairs, ORDER: ARTICLE I The AM-Lire notes of any denomination, as well as the banknotes issued by the „Banca d’ltalia“ in denominations of 50 Lire and 100 Lire of all issues at present in circulation with the exception of the banknotes in the denominations of 50 Lire of the third new type and of 100 Lire of the second new type (as referred to in D.M. dated 22 September 1944 of the Italian Republic) shall cease to be the legal tender on 30 June 1950. The „Banca d’ltalia“ shall provide for their substitution until 30 June 1951 inclusive. The above notes not submitted for substitution within such time-limit shall be forfeited. ARTICLE II The provisions set forth in R.D.L. No. 2395, dated 22 December 1927, converted into the law No. 3115, dated 2 December 1928, as well as any other existing legal provision or regulation concerning Free Ports, shall apply to the Said new Zone of the Free Port.
