Članek se osredotoča na vprašanje ekološke krize. Izhaja iz hipoteze, da slednja ni le ena od treh bistvenih dimenzij aktualne krize, temveč je tista, zaradi katere je aktualna kriza sploh prva dejansko sistemska kriza kapitalizma. Po priključitvi ekološke dimenzije kriza ni več le kriza konkretnega družbenega sistema, temveč je kriza, ki ta konkretni sistem prerašča, je kriza, ki modificira družbeni sistem kot tak ter ga neločljivo preplete z dinamiko naravnega sistema. Ekološka kriza je doslej brez dvoma najresnejši simptom kapitalizma. A ker so njegovi posegi v okolje sprožili in še naprej sprožajo nepovratne procese (procese, ki se bodo določen čas nadaljevali tudi po odpravi vseh vzrokov zanje), je jasno vsaj eno: kapitalizem bo v formi svojega simptoma neznano dolgo obstajal tudi po svojem lastnem koncu.

The article focuses on the question of ecological crisis. It starts from the hypothesis that the latter is not only one of the three essential dimensions of the current crisis, but is the one that makes the current crisis the first ever systemic crisis of capitalism. the social system as such, inseparably intertwining it with the dynamics of the natural ^^ system. The ecological crisis is doubtlessly the most serious symptom of capitalism to date. However, since its interference in the environment has triggered and still triggers ^^ irreversible processes (which will continue for a while also after the elimination of all their causes), one thing is clear: in the form of its symptom, capitalism will exists indefinitely also after its own end.	159
